Construction Material Laboratory was established in the early days of the faculty of engineering foundation in 1325. It is located in main building of faculty of engineering in main campus of university of Tehran. Construction Material Laboratory had been supervised by Late A. Khalili since 1325 to 1349, then by late professor M. Ghalibafian since 1349 to 1386. Dr. M. Shekarchizadeh has been supervising the Construction Material Laboratory since 1386 till now.
This laboratory is one of the most reliable construction material laboratory centers of Iran and the most organizations accept it as a valid reliable reference laboratory.
Nowadays, Construction Material Laboratory of university of Tehran is contributing in consulting and research projects in Construction Material Institute (CMI) as technical laboratory.
