Student Activities, Performing Thesis, Training Period, and Student Competitions:
|
Supporting the interested students in concrete technology, the Construction Materials Institute as a scientific research center provides the appropriate conditions and laboratory facilities for Master of Science students and guides them through their theses in the graduate programs. From the foundation of the Institute in 1381 (2003) till the present, students have performed over 15 different theses in CMI.

The undergraduate students can proceed their training period in CMI. Having a good academic environment in relation with industry, CMI can develop the interested students' capabilities in concrete and materials area. After passing this training period, students would be completely familiar with different test methods and new topics in concrete technology.

Student Competition
CMI (Construction Materials Institute) supports the interested students in different national and international competitions to achieve the best positions. After interviewing to determine the main theme, Students should do the required activities in student teams.
Applying and admitting the interested students, CMI has won the best awards in various concrete competitions around the world. Some of these awards are listed below:
- 3rd Place, for the ACI Concrete Cube Strength Competition, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, October 15, 2000
- 1st Place, ACI FRC 2004 Bowling Ball Competition, Mehdi Bakhshi, Aboozar Bonakdar, Mohammad Jahangir, Bahareh Abdollahi, Hamed Yazdani
